5 out of 5 stars Nice colors!   August 4, 2010

My primary interest in buying these items were for use in a solar oven. For cooking in a solar oven, I have yet to find anything else that works as good as this product does. Thank you, Imusa!

3 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for...   March 11, 2010

I don't think this is really a dutch oven. It is very thin and lightweight, unlike any dutch oven I've ever seen. It did serve its purpose for my application of roasting a tofu turkey though. I'm not a pro cook by no means so I'm not sure what is the use for the thick and heavy dutch ovens anyway. Just wanted to let other buyers know exactly how thin it is. Additionally, I have a glass cook top stove and could not use it on the burner because the pan is warped. ( I don't know if this happened from using it in the oven or if it came like this from factory). Also as another reviewer stated, the sticker and the glue are impossible to get off. I peeled most of it off but there's still residue and I've just been using like that anyway since it doesn't contact the food.

You get what you pay for, it's a cheap pot that's just adequate. I'd say it's ok for light & infrequent use. You may just want to save your money and try to pick up a real dutch oven at a large chain discount retailer like Home Goods, TJ Maxx or Ross.

Utalitarian, looks like the 30's type material (enamel) usefull but not flashy and it does a great job holding stews or chili.

This is a great pot. I baked a ham in it, and it simply fell apart. It was so tender. I have cooked soups, stews, taco meat, etc. It cleans up great.
